South Korea

I will always remember South Korea, the mountains, the Buddhist temples, the Taekwondo trainings, the fun we had together, and celebrating my 11th birthday there. It was amazing and super fun. I got to experience my birthday around my Taekwondo friends and family in South Korea. It was an unforgettable birthday.

I am so grateful to have had the experience of being in South Korea with my family, dojang friends, and teachers. It is a beautiful mountainous country. I hope to go back again someday.

“Korea is known as the land of the morning calm, that is what Justin’s energy is like.”

Greece

On our first full day, we went on a bus tour to the Temple of Apollo on Mount Parnassus. Apollo is the Greek God known for archery, music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing, the Sun, light, and poetry. I like these qualities.

I went to the temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. On the way to Poseidon's Temple, we stopped at a beautiful lake just south of Athens that has healing water and an amazing view of a mountain. Poseidon is the Greek God of the ocean. He symbolizes the trident, fish, bull, and the horse. Poseidon is my favorite Greek God because I like water.

We then visited Socrates’ jail which is close by. Even though you couldn't go inside the jail, it was still cool to see. I am very much into philosophy and I like how Socrates used to think and what he believed in.

"To find yourself, think for yourself."
